By InGoldWeTrust

Bullion gold coins are coins issued by national mints such as USA, Canada, China and Australia. Usually these coins are denominated in one ounce or fractions of an ounce so working out the value of a coin is fairly easy. You just need to know what fraction of an ounce your particular coin is and then multiply that by the current gold price.

A lot of these gold coins will be denominated in as a number of the national currency (20 Yuan, 50 dollars) and so on rather than stating on it what fraction of an ounce it is. This article is a reference guide to tell you the gold content of different national bullion coins.
